Filming problem

When we started to film everyone chose what they wanted to wear which was okay but we made sure that what ever they picked, that they were able to wear it again incase we needed to film again. Then it came to the point that we did need to re-film the stage scene so we told everyone to wear the same clothes, but during the filming we didnt notice that one of the guitar player wasn't wearing there cardigan.

As you can see everyone else was wearing the same clothes so we didnt think that there was any problem during filming, we didnt realise the problem unit we started to edit and to putting the new footage in.

Editing Process - Final Cut Express

This is the software that we are using to edit our music video and that is Final Cut Express. This is what the timeline looks like on the software.

Photos

These are some of the location that we decided to film at. Before we got there we said we had to have one land mark so we decided to record a scene where we see the famous British red telephone box.

Filming

Today we went out and re filmed some of the stage scene, because our first attempt at the stage scene were ok but we couldn't see the main singer moving his lips so it looked like he wasn't singing at all. Even thought we recorded several attempts they were still kind of the same.

That is why today when went out to film we made sure that we can see the singers lips also we did some extra shots that wasn't in our original plan but we just cam up with the idea on the day. overall we recorded more shots than we had intended.

Info on the band "The Silent Film Project"

This band is a rock/indie group.

This next part has been taken from Unsigned.com , and this is basically the band talking about them self.

Hailing from the rather picturesque steeltown of Scunthorpe, Silent Film Project are a five piece musical adventure. The quintet draw from many influences covering a broad spectrum, ranging from Simon and Garfunkel to The Dismemberment Plan.
Dual male/female vocals are provided by Paul and Lisa, with Paul also playing acoustic guitar and Lisa shaking and rattling anything she can find, as well as providing glockenspiel. The rhythm department consists of Phill on drums and Jim on Bass, whilst Tom plays guitars.
The project is a few years old and the band have three EPs to their name, and are crafting their sound for a new release in the next six months. The new and as yet unrecorded songs are taking on a bouncier feel which may be something we will be seeing more of in the group in the future.
For now the best way to sample the new material is to catch the band live on one of their regular gigs around the North and Midlands, so amble along to a gig and find out what jangly audio joy these four boys and one girl have to offer your ears. Check the band's official site or their Myspace page to keep up to date with the band on tour.
